Imperial Koi opened its doors in early 2007 and ever since we have built a formidable reputation with our regulars for supplying healthy, quality koi that represent excellent value for money.
We very quickly branched out into the design and build of specialised Koi ponds, tailored to the specific needs of every client. Having helped many koi enthusiasts dreams become a reality, numerous projects have lead to articles in the monthly Koi magazine.
What to expect:
Located just off Junction 1 of the M40, we are situated within Smiths Garden Centre, which is a superb independent, family run business that has been operating since 1931. If you are travelling to us from a distance, ‘Smith’s’ is a great way to while away a few hours for family members who are less interested in koi, there’s even a restaurant on site for a bite to eat! If you are visiting Fri-Sun you will also be able to visit the onsite Market Square which has a bakery, butchers and green grocers!
We stock a wide range of ‘Dry Goods’ and we aim to keep everything under our roof that you may require in a hurry:
Koi Food Saki Hikari, JPD, Medikoi, Imperial Food, Kockney Koi
Koi Treatments/Test Kits Kusuri, Columbo, Nt-Labs
Pond Pumps/Air Pumps Superfish
Uv Units/Bulbs TMC, Philips
Water Treatments Cloverleaf, Columbo, NT-Labs, Microbe-lift
Pipe Work/Fittings EA Flexi-Connectors, Pressure, Waste, Valves
Pond Liner/Underlay PVC
To add to this, we also have “THE CATALOGUE” this lists in detail every single item that we personally recommend for use. So if we don’t have what you are looking for in store we can usually get it for you inside a week!
Small but perfectly formed, we have just under 8000 gallons of water spread over ten retail tanks. Our Shop has been described by many new visitors as a ‘hidden gem’ – and we really do pride ourselves on having koi for almost everyone!
We have a very simple and laid back approach to how we do things – there’s ‘no nonsense, just koi.’
Imperial Koi is an outlet owned and run by koi enthusiasts, so whether you’re after something specific or you just want to ‘talk koi’ in a relaxing, none pressured environment, don’t be shy, call in and introduce yourself!
